Maria Sharapova’s kid Theodore has finally arrives in 2022


 Maria Sharapova has finally announced the birth of a son called Theodore.

Maria Sharapova, a five-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one, revealed on Friday that she had given birth to a baby boy called Theodore.

He is the first child of the 35-year-old Russian tennis player and 42-year-old British businessman Alexander Gilkes, who announced their engagement in December 2020.

“The most beautiful, demanding, and gratifying present our small family could wish for,” Sharapova wrote on Instagram on Friday, noting that Theodore was born on July 1 in Roman numerals.

Sharapova, who announced her pregnancy in April, is one of just ten women to complete the career Grand Slam by winning all four major singles titles at least once.

At the age of 17, Sharapova won her first major victory at Wimbledon in 2004, and she went on to win the 2006 US Open, the 2008 Australian Open, and the 2012 and 2014 French Opens.
