Mahama to attend Yagbonwura out-dooring in Damongo

Former President John Dramani Mahama will be among dignitaries attending the event to outdoor the new Yagbonwura on Tuesday in Damongo. 

This was announced by the Savannah Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Imoro Seidu at the Jakpa Palace on Friday. 

Tulwewura Amonebafe Borenyi will be enskined on Monday 20th March as Yagbonwura at Nyange following the passing of Tuntumba Boressah in February this year. 

The new Yagbonwura will then be outdoored on Tuesday March 21 at the Jakpa Palace in Damongo. 

The event will see many dignitaries such as Government officials, Overlords from other traditional areas, Diplomats attending. 

The former President will lead the opposition party to the event taking place in his home region.

As the Palace prepare for the Royal events, John Mahama who is himself a Royal from Bole donated some food stuff and cash amount towards the events. 

Items donated on behalf of the former President were 30 bags of rice, 50 packs of treated water, 2 bags of maize, 2 bags of cassava and a  cash of 30,000 Ghana cedis.

Making the donation, the Savannah Regional chairman of the national Democratic Congress, Alhaji Imoro Seidu said the gesture was the fomer President's modest contribution to the enskinment.

He also announced the former President will be in attendance at the Jakpa Palace on Tuesday when the new Yagbonwura will be outdoored.
