To mark his 40th birthday, the Member of Parliament for Damongo, Samuel Abdulai Jinapor made a donation to the Redemption Children’s Home in Damongo.
The items presented to the Orphanage included 40 bags of rice, 40 packs of drinks, 4 boxes of washing powder, 4 boxes of keysoap, 40 packs of tissue rolls, 40 bags of maize and 4 boxes of tin tomatoes.
The donation also included packs of diapers for babies at the Orphanage amongst others.
Making the donation on behalf of the lawmaker, Municipal Chief Executive for West Gonja, Musah Karim Kusubari commended the Founder and staff of the Orphanage for their stellar hardwork and sacrifices.
He said the legislater who doubles as the sector Minister for Lands and Natural Resources made the donation to mark his 40th birthday and the guidance God continues to show him in his field of work.
According to him, the MP held dearly the welfare of children and will continue to be of assistance to them.
Pastor Abraham Lermu Saaka, founder and Manager of Redemption Children’s Home, expressed gratitude for the kind gesture shown them by the MP adding that the donation would help immensely to alleviate the plight of the children and improve their living conditions.
He amso expressed gratitude to God for seeing the MP through to 40 years on and prayed for protection and guidance for him in the coming years.
The MCE was accompanied by the NPP constituency deputy Organizer Alhaji Rambo, Constituency Communication Director, Mr. Iddrisu Laminu and Mr. Bawa Fuseini, coordinator for the office of the MP.
In a related development, Abu Jinapor has donated a Navara pickup to the Savannah Regional Council of Islamic Education to assist spur the activities of the Council.
The presentation was done on behalf of the MP by the Municipal Chief Executive for West Gonja, Musah Karim Kusubari at the forecourt of the MP’s office in Damongo.
Handing over the Pickup, Mr. Kusubari disclosed that the donation is in fulfillment of a pledge made to the Council by the ML following a request to him during a visit to him few months ago.
According to him, the MP is also committed to helping the Council get a befitting regional office and urged them to continue to pray for legislater.
Alhaji Abubakari Kayeli, a member of the council thanked Allah for his mercies and extended the Council’s profound gratitude to the lawmaker and added that it is worth emulating.
He opined that the vehicle will go a long way to fast track the activities of the Council.
Alhaji Abubakari prayed for Allah’s blessings for the Damongo legislater for his benevolence and swift response to their request.
