The people of Damongo in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region can now heave a sigh of relief as one of the major challenges confronting them has been resolved by the MP of the area, Samuel Abdulai Jinapor.
On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Mr. Jinapor commissioned an ultra-modern community center for the Damongo township.
The 300 seater capacity auditorium is fully furnished with logistics to serve the purpose for which it was built.
The edifice comes with ancillary facilities, including a car park and washrooms fashioned to make activities convenient for patrons.
Speaking at a ceremony to inaugurate the facility, Mr. Jinapor reiterated his commitment to undertake massive development projects the constituency.
He espoused that he is committed to improving the living conditions of his constituents through social interventions and infrastructural projects.
He also assured the people of his readiness to fulfil the campaign promises he made to them before assuming office as the lawmaker of the area.
The Damongo legislature urged his constituents to have confidence in him to propel adequate development in the constituency.
Jinapor who is also the minister for Lands and Natural Resources expressed his deepest appreciation to the constituents for the level of support extended to him.
The inaugural ceremony was spiced by musical performances by Northern based music crooner Fancy Gadam, Olaadis, and Lexicon.
Thousands of people thronged the out-dooring ceremony to catch glimpses of the performances of the artists billed to grace it.
Also at the ceremony was the Savannah Regional Minister, Saeed Muhazu Jibril, Regional Chairman of the NPP, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, MCE for West Gonja, Musah Karim Kusubari and constituency executives of the NPP.
