Dankare be Lembu" donates computer accessories to Jakpa Palace

 

Dankare be Lembu, a youth group in Gonjaland, has donated computer and its accessories as well as stationary worth thousands of Ghana cedis to Jakpa Palace in Damongo. 


Items donated by the group include a laptop computer, printer/scanner, router, A4 papers, note books, office table and chairs.


The donation made to the palace according to the group is to connect the Palace to the internet to assist the administrative work of the palace secretariat.


Dr. Abdul-Karim Amati, President of the group, explained that the donation is to help enhance the administrative activities of the Palace.

According to him, the palace will be connected to uninterrupted internet services every day, thereby maximizing the hours spent in the administration of the palace.


"Amongst the essence of the donation include ensuring the palace does not go outside to print documents that could lead to leakages and also to connect the palace to internet services thereby linking it with the globe", he explained.


After receiving the items, the King and Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Yagbonwura Bikunutu Jewu Soale I, expressed appreciation to the group for the donation.


He also urged the group to keep strengthening its relationship between the palace to spur the growth of the Kingdom.
