The Member of Parliament for Damongo constituency, Samuel Abdulai Jinapor has donated a brand new Toyota Hilux Pick-up vehicle to the Ndewura Jakpa Senior High and Technical School.
The vehicle was presented to the Headmaster of the school at a short durbar which had various stakeholders in attendance.
The vehicle, estimated at over GH¢ 310,000 was donated in response to an appeal by the school management to the president of the Republic, Nana Akufo Addo.
The donation also included a public address systems as well as a computer and its accessories to spur entertainment activities in the school.
Samuel Abdulai Jinapor speaking at at the ceremony said that the donation was to facilitate the operations and administration of the school.
According to him, education remains the catalyst for growth in every facet of human life and that will do everything within his remit to ensure that quality education is brought to the doorstep of his constituents.
Mr. Jinapor expressed his commitment and dedication to the delivery of quality education not just in schools in the Damongo constituency but the Savannah region as a whole.
The lawmaker also asked the students to relegate indiscipline and pursue their aspirations with the needed seriousness to become productive leaders in future.
The Headmaster of the school, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed expressed his joy and elation for the intervention by the Damongo lawmaker.
According to him, this is the umpteenth time the legislator has come to the rescue of the school as he has in the past made similar interventions.
He commended the MP who doubles as the sector Minister for Lands and Natural Resources for his continuous support to the school.
