The King and Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bikunutu Jewu Soale I, has expressed his full support for the activities of KAGA Foundation.
The endorsement by the King was made during a courtesy call on him at his Palace by members of the Foundation on Friday, September 8, 2023.
Yagbonwura Bikunutu who spoke through his linguist said he fully endorse every undertaking by the Foundation aimed at exposing the beautiful culture of the Gonja people to the world.
The Yagbonwura also urged members of the Foundation to work relentlessly to ensure that its activities also propels development in Kingdom.
In an interview with kashafmonline.com, the Public Relations Officer of the Foundation, Mr. Adam Akilu Gideon explained that the purpose of the visit was to inform the King about the existence of the Foundation, its activities and what it seeks to achieve.
Mr. Gideon expressed the delight of the organisation for the endorsement by the Yagbonwura and affirmed their resolve to work closely with the King to enhance the culture and tradition of Gonja.
He also disclosed that the Foundation is all set to start season II of the Foundation's cultural pageantry show known as the Wuripe Savannah Cultural Festival (WUSACUF).
He rallied the people of Savannah Region to embrace the activities of the Foundation to Foster social cohesion in the region.
